The office hour followed a different format to our previous Collets trips. There were no large maps to pour over, and no opportunity to discuss the pros and cons of the two routes amongst ourselves. Mick the Guide gave a step-by-step description of each walk, then you just signed up for the one that you wanted. He told it exactly as it is, so that you did not sign up for a walk and later regret it as it was too difficult or too exposed.

A white board detailed the plan for the week, and the usual Colletts walk sheets were available. There were no really easy walks, and in fact there was not so much between the moderate and the hard walks.
